What’s the most visited tourist destination in Negros?

Well, without a doubt, it is Cano Guapo Tan’s Campuestohan Highland Resort in Talisay City.

Even before its Chicken Structure cum Hotel was put up and recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest structure in the shape of a chicken, the mountain resort was already attracting throngs of daily visitors.

Comments from visitors and netizens from all over the world, and those of the various civic and other organizations, are all praises for the resort put up not by a corporate or government institution.

The visionary and the entrepreneural spirit in Ricardo “Cano Guapo” Tan, driven by his incorruptible values he even demonstrated while in government service, pushed his adventurous ambition to create something spectacular that Negros and the entire Philippines can be proud of.

If Guinness and the various tourism and media entities from here and abroad visited and gave Campuestohan so much positive reviews, recognition and honor that gave the country a bigger lighthouse in the world tourism map, perhaps Cano Guapo deserves more accolade from the Department of Tourism and even Malacañang.

Despite the honor and opportunities Campuestohan has given to the cities of Talisay and Bacolod, Negros Occidental and Negros Island in general, and to the whole Philippines, the resort keeps on improving and offering more that it is now a day and night destination for both domestic and foreign tourists.
