Bacolod Cops Nab No. 3 Most Wanted for Carnapping

Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office apprehended the number three most wanted person of Bacolod Police Station 5 during a targeted warrant operation on Monday evening. The 33-year-old suspect was captured at exactly 6:30 PM on September 21, 2026, in Phase VI-B, Barangay Handumanan.

The law enforcement operation was carried out by the Tracker Team of Police Station 5, under the direct leadership of Station Commander PMaj. Andy V. Ofalia. The operatives served a standing warrant of arrest against the suspect, an unemployed male identified only by his alias “Max,” who is a resident of Barangay Alangilan.

Alias “Max” was apprehended for violating Section 3 of Republic Act No. 10883, otherwise known as the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016. A recommended bail is fixed at Php 300,000 for his temporary liberty and is currently detained at the the police station.*
