Valderama is new Confed Negros-Panay president

New Confed Negros-Panay president Aurelio Gerardo “Bodie” J. Aurelio Gerardo “Bodie” J. Valderrama, Jr. was elected as the new president of the Confederation of Sugarcane Farmers of Negros & Panay, Inc. (Confed Negros-Panay) during the elections held last Monday, September 19, at the Confed office in Talisay City.

Valderama is the president of the Vicmico Planters’ Association, Inc. (VICMICO), and had a short stint as planters’ representative to the Board of the Sugar Regulatory Administration.

He will serve as Confed Negros-Panay president for Crop Year 2022-2024.

Elected with Valderama are Vice-President – Alfonso F. Gamboa (Associated Planters of Silay-Saravia, Inc. (APSSI); Corporate Secretary – Bernardo C. Trebol (First Farmers Association, Inc. (FFAI)); Assistant Corporate Secretary – Jose Maria B. Montinola (VICMICO); Treasurer – Nicolas P. Ledesma, Jr. (FFAI); and Assistant Treasurer – Ma. Regina Bautista-Martin (Asociacion de Hacenderos de Silay-Saravia, Inc. (AHSSI)).* (Butch Bacaoco)
