PhP 720,800 Worth of ‘Shabu’ Seized

The inventory of the recovered evidence was conducted in accordance with established procedures following the buy-bust operation in Purok 7, Barangay Maslog, Sibulan, Negros Oriental, on October 7, 2026.*

The relentless Police Regional Office Negros Island Region operations against illegal drugs resulted to another drug haul worth PhP 720,800 and the arrest of another suspect Wednesday.

PRO NIR reported that alias “Opao,” 33 years old, male, married, and a resident of Canlas Subdivision, Barangay Bagacay, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental was nabbed in an early morning buy-bust operation on Ict. 7 in Purok 7, Barangay Maslog, Sibulan, Negros Oriental, with 206 grams of suspected shabu.

Every gram of illegal drugs taken off the streets means one less threat to the safety and well-being of our communities.
