PRO NIR Passed Performance Governance System Compliance Stage

The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region has reached another milestone in its pursuit of organizational excellence after successfully passing the Performance Governance Reporting Revalida for the Compliance Stage on July 23, 2026, at Sinagtala P.A.T.R.O.L.ers’ Hall, Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM), Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City.
The successful evaluation affirms PRO NIR’s adherence to governance standards under the Performance Governance System (PGS), demonstrating its commitment to institutionalizing transparency, accountability, and strategy-driven leadership in support of the Philippine National Police P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.
PBGen. Romano V. Cardiño, Regional Director, and the members of PRO NIR Technical Working Group presented PRO NIR’s governance journey before a distinguished Board of Panel chaired by PBGen. Jeffrey Z. Decena, Deputy Director for Information and Communication Technology Management (DICTM), together with Atty. Frances Cynthia J. Guiani, Member of the National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (NAGPTD), serving as Co-Chairperson. The presentation highlighted PRO NIR’s governance mechanisms, strategic initiatives, measurable accomplishments, and best practices that continue to strengthen organizational performance and service delivery.
Following a comprehensive presentation, panel examination, and deliberation, the Board of Panel officially declared PRO NIR to have successfully passed the Compliance Stage Reporting Revalida, signifying its readiness for the conferment of Compliance Status under the Performance Governance System. PBGen. Cardiño emphasized that the achievement reflects the collective commitment of every PRO NIR personnel toward building an organization founded on integrity, innovation, and excellence.
