Jules Ledesma Returns to House of Representatives

Julio “Jules” Ledesma IV has officially returned as representative of the First District of Negros Occidental, reclaiming the seat he previously held.

He resumed the post following the decision of his predecessor, Gerardo Valmayor Jr., to step down and take a break after serving two terms in office.

Ledesma formally took his oath in a simple ceremony on June 16, 2025, before Barangay Prosperidad Chief Sostines Tranilla at the Emerald Arcade in Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City, in the presence of his children, Carlo and Cristina Ledesma; LGOO VII Evelyn Vista;; and Liga ng mga Barangay President Alfredo Martin Cui.

This occurred ahead of the mass oath-taking of local officials of the city scheduled for June 30, which he also attended.

Congressman Ledesma, accompanied by his wife Assunta and daughter Fiore, also participated in the 65th Charter Anniversary parade of the local government unit of San Carlos City the following day.*
