BCFS Emerges as a Top 5 Finalist for Best City Fire Station in the Philippines

Today, July 10, 2026, the Bacolod City Fire Station proudly welcomed the National Validation Team for the in-person validation of the finalists for the Best Organizational Unit Award in line with the 35th Bureau of Fire Protection Anniversary.

The validation was led by FCSUPT ARISTOTLE B BAÑAGA, Director for Plans, BFP National Headquarters, together with SFO4 Sharlane O Palisoc, SFO2 Joy Kenneth L Madrona, and Ms. Loida F. Geronimo, members of the National Validating Team.

Under the leadership of FSupt Jenny Mae C Masip, City Fire Marshal, the Bacolod City Fire Station underwent a comprehensive evaluation as one of the Top 5 finalists for the Best City Fire Station in the country—an exceptional recognition among 149 City Fire Stations nationwide.

Following the validation, FSSupt. Gerry G. Berte, Regional Director of the BFP Negros Island Region, conducted an inspiring interfacing with the Bacolod City Firefighters. He congratulated all personnel for being part of the Bacolod City Fire Station and reaffirmed his unwavering support, encouraging everyone to continue giving their best in delivering quality public service and upholding the highest standards of the Bureau.
