PRO NIR Welcomes Newly Promoted PBGen. Villaflor Bannawagan

The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region warmly welcomed PBGen. Villaflor S. Bannawagan, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, following his well-deserved promotion to the rank of Police Brigadier General, on June 17, 2026, at Kanlaon Hall, Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr., Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.

The ceremony was led by PBGen. Romano B. Cardiño, Acting Regional Director, and was attended by the Command Group, Regional Staff, Personal Staff, Chiefs of National Support Units, Acting Force Commander, RMFB, and other officers and personnel of PRO NIR.

PBGen. Bannawagan, a distinguished member of the Philippine National Police Academy Kabalikat Class of 1998, formally donned his new rank during the Donning of Ranks Ceremony held on June 15, 2026, at the Philippine National Police Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City. The promotion recognizes his exemplary leadership, unwavering dedication, and significant contributions to the Philippine National Police throughout his years of service.

As the Deputy Regional Director for Administration, he continues to play a vital role in strengthening the region’s administrative operations, personnel management, and organizational development. His promotion further reflects the Philippine National Police’s trust and confidence in his capability to lead with professionalism, integrity, and excellence.
