USAT College Names Pioneer Latin Honor Graduates

USAT College Sagay City, Inc. has released the list of graduates who will receive Latin honors during its historic first college graduation ceremony on June 3.
The honorees belong to the institution’s pioneer batch of graduates from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) programs, both introduced during the 2022–2023 academic year.
Among the pioneer graduates, Francis D. Francisco of the BSIS program stands out as the sole Magna Cum Laude awardee.
Seven other graduates will receive Cum Laude honors.
From the BSIS program, the awardees are Luvimae S. Cañete, Jomila Cia A. Vasquez, and Aldo I. Pasilan.
From the BSTM program, the honorees are Shine S. Mahilum, Angel Jhane G. Gonzaga, Jerica D. Ledesma, and Axel Rose E. Navales.
Francisco said he is honored to be part of the pioneer batch and credited his achievement to the support of his instructors, family, classmates, and God.
Pasilan described the recognition as a reward for hard work and dedication, while Cañete said the honor reflects perseverance and the support she received from her family, friends, mentors, and the USAT community.
Vasquez expressed gratitude to God for the achievement, saying the recognition exceeded her expectations and inspired her to remain humble and continue striving for excellence.
Mahilum said receiving Latin honors is both surreal and humbling, noting that the achievement is not only personal but also part of the institution’s history.
Navales said the recognition reflects years of hard work, perseverance, faith, and support from her family, teachers, and classmates. She expressed hope that future students will continue pursuing excellence.
Ledesma said she feels happy, humbled, and grateful to be among the institution’s first Latin honor recipients. She described the recognition as the result of years of sacrifices, challenges, and determination.
Gonzaga expressed pride and gratitude for being one of USAT’s first Cum Laude graduates. She said the honor reflects the hard work, sacrifices, and perseverance that shaped her college journey.
The recognition of the pioneer batch marks a milestone for USAT College as it celebrates its first graduates and continues to expand higher education opportunities in Sagay City and neighboring communities.* (Erwin Mabugat)
