DSB Placed 3rd in Plastic Rebirth Contest at 30th Panaad sa Negros
Don Salvador Benedicto, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Nehemiah Joe J. Dela Cruz, secured 3rd Place in the Sustainable Small Furniture out of Recycled Plastic Board category during the Plastic Rebirth Contest at the 30th Panaad sa Negros 2026!
The winning entry—a sleek and functional Office Table and Chair Set—demonstrates the amazing potential of recycled plastic boards in creating durable, stylish, and sustainable furniture.
“Special recognition goes to Mr. Ramel Lano, the talented creator behind this innovative masterpiece. His work proves that waste materials can be transformed into high-quality, professional furniture without compromising functionality or design. An office symbolizes productivity and innovation, making it the perfect setting for sustainable materials that promote a greener future,” DSB said in a statement.
“This achievement reflects the commitment of the municipality, led by Mayor Nehemiah Joe J. Dela Cruz, in promoting environmental sustainability through innovation and strong collaboration,” it added.
