9th Burangoy Tourism Kite Festival 2023

Sipalay City known as the “Jewel of the Sugar Island” in southern Negros Occidental, now aims to become the Kite Tourism Capital of the Philippines, as local kite flyers gather with the Korean kite enthusiasts as they showcase their colorful and creative kites and their kite flying skills at Poblacion beach in this city, for the 9th Burangoy Tourism Kite Festival.

The city wishes for more local and international enthusiasts to join every year.

The Kite Association of the Philippines (KAP), Korea Kite Federation (KKF), Chungman Cultural Heritage Content Cooperative, and the Korea Philippine Festival & Cultural Exchange Association are joining this event organized by Sipalay City Tourism Development and Promotion Office.
