Calibration of weighing scales in public markets ongoing

The Revenue Inspection and Miscellaneous Services Section (RIMSS) of the Bacolod City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) – License Division, assisted by the City Legal Office (CLO) enforcement team, continues to conduct calibration of weighing scales on public markets in the city.

Out of 261, seven weighing scales have been confiscated at Libertad Public Market during its initial operation.

RIMSS-CTO and CTO continue the calibration and inspection of defective and underweight weighing scales in major public markets, bagsakan, and barangay satellite markets.

Vendors who are interested to voluntarily have their weighing scales calibrated may visit the RIMSS-CTO located at the ground floor of the Bacolod City Hall.* (with report from BCD PIO)
