Robbery incidents increase in NegOcc: NOCPPO
The Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (NOCPPO) confirmed that there is an increase in robbery incidents in the province.
Police Lt. Judesses Catalogo, concurrent spokesperson for NOCPPO, however said there are no organized crime groups in the province as most of these have either disbanded or were completely dismantled by law enforcement.
Catalogo said robbery incidents that took place lately were done either by lone suspects or groups, although he noted that said groups are not yet considered as organized.
He further said that most of the robbery incidents they recorded involved delivery vans, particularly those carrying grocery items.* (DGB)
