Pao Sy takes oath as Bacolod City Councilor

Psyche Marie “Pao” Sy, daughter of the late Bacolod councilor Elmer Sy, took her oath as the city’s new councilor.

Atty. Caesar Distrito, former city councilor and vice mayoralty candidate for the May election, said
Singcang-Airport Brgy. Captain Rosinie Distrito administered the oath taking.

“A symbolic gesture, Pao being a resident of Brgy. Singcang-Airport. She chose to take her oath before her own barangay captain,” Atty. Distrito said.

President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Pao as replacement of her father who passed away.*
