CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON OCTOBER 2

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 2, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: October 2, 2021 – Saturday

Reasons:
• Replacement of two 35ft. 3-phase rotten primary wood poles with two 35ft. concrete poles, replacement of one 35t. 1-phase and two 30ft. open secondary wood poles;
• Transferring of three primary and secondary assemblies and drops to newly-erected 69kV pole, removal of 30ft. wood pole;
• Installation of load break switch, disconnect switch and several disconnecting cut-outs;
• Tree clearing activities; and
• Tapping of San Francisco Farmville newly-extended single-phase primary line

Time: 7am to 2pm

Areas Affected: BF4 Along Sofia Gonzaga Ave. (Scala–Fortune Town Brgy. Hall), Fortune Town Subdivisions, Purok Pag-asa Relocation Site, Town Homes Verde, Camelot Residences, Meadows of Camelot Subd., Prk. Villamar, Country Homes Subd. Country Homes Phase 3, La Herencia Negrense, Villa Lucasan Subd., Capitol Heights Phase V, Abkasa

Time: 9am to 11am

Areas Affected: BF3 (portion only) Golden Gate Subdivision
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
