HIDILYN DIAZ AT THE CAPITOL

First Filipino Olympic gold medalist, Hidilyn Diaz, was warmly welcomed and honored by Negrenses at the Capitol Welcome Rites led by Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Provincial Consultant Rafael Coscolluela, Executive Assistant to the Governor, Charina Magallanes-Tan, Capitol employees, and members of the media, during her visit this afternoon. She also received a copy of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan resolution declaring her an adopted daughter of Negros Occidental. Diaz was accompanied by her coach Julius Naranjo and Monico Puentevella, president of Samahang Weightlifting ng Pilipinas.*
