SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 85 km Northeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (12.2 N, 125.9 E). Easterlies affecting the eastern section of Mindanao.
FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to LPA/Easterlies. Light to moderate winds coming from the Southeast to East will prevail over Negros Island and the coastal waters are slight to moderate with an average height of 0.6 to 2.5 m.

Light to moderate winds coming from the East to Southeast will prevail over Negros Island and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate with an average wave height of 0.6 to 2.5 m.
