CLMMRH closes admission for Covid-19 cases temporarily
According to the hospital management of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City, the dedicated beds for COVID-19 confirmed cases on both wards and Critical Care Unit (CCU) have reached its full capacity on May 29, 2021.
CLMMRH would like to inform the public that the Emergency Room of the institution will no longer accept COVID-19 cases except for extreme emergency cases only until further notice. As much as they intend to serve every COVID-19 patient needing hospital care, the management advised the public to avail such services from other hospitals within the province.
The medical institution would like to emphasize that the COVID-19 disease is a public health concern that needs the cooperation of everyone to mitigate its spread. Medical center chief Dr. Julius Drilon, MD reiterated the importance of physical distancing, frequent hand-washing, and wearing of face masks & face shields properly.
Furthermore, the management would like to remind everyone to coordinate all patient transfers through their operation center’s Hotline at 0917-100-7093 or 701-7865 to ensure efficient process of handling patients and proper referral.
