Public Hearing for Proposed Establishment of ‘City of Kabankalan College’ Set on June 15

The public hearing on the proposed creation of City of Kabankalan College (CKC) will be held at 2 PM on Monday, June 15 at the Kabankalan Sanggunian Panlungsod session hall.

The SP Committee on Education on Thursday held a committee hearing on the proposal.

Mayor Benjie Miranda who attended the committee hearing said it was successful because the concerns and questions about the proposal were addressed.

He said CKC will be located on a five- to 10-hectare lot the exact location he did not disclose. He also said that once established, CKC will offer courses not available in other colleges in the city, such as Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Bachelor of Science in Human Services, and other courses.*
