Quick Response of Firemen, Rescue Groups in Singcang Fire Lauded

The quick response of firemen and rescue groups during a fire Wednesday morning in Barangay Singcang in Bacolod was lauded by a city councilor and residents of the barangay.

“Madamo gid nga salamat sa maabtik nga pag responde sang aton mga firemen from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Amity & Chamber fire brigades, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Brgy. Taculing kag mga volunteers. Salamat gid Lord nga wala naglapta ang kalayo sa Magsungay,” City Councilor Caesar Distrito said.

The fire incident occured at Purok Magsungay in Brgy. Singcang, Bacolod City past 4AM of December 18.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Bacolod, it razed the house owned by Belen Moya and caused partial damage to three other houses.

Wimer Sabanal, 32 years old sustained an abrasion on his left foot, while an 8-year-old sustained a 2nd degree burn on her lower abdomen.
