Prov’l Govt’s DRRMO, Red Cross, Chinese Chamber, BFP On the Move

The Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross, Bacolod Chinese Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade, and the Bureau of Fire Protection, continues to carry out rescue and relief operations for victims of floodings in Southern Negros.

Prior to the forecasted heavy rains and floodings due to Storm Crising-enhanced Habagat, the PDRRMO already went on alert and moved its assets.

With other government and volunteer groups, it responded to calls for help, doing search and rescue and relief operations also alongside local government units in affected areas.* (PDRRMO & BFP photos)
