Juvic Pagunsan to Headline Rotary Golf Tournament
Golfing excellence meets community impact as celebrated Filipino pro Juvic Pagunsan joins this year’s Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara annual tournament, set for July 18–20 at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club.

Renowned for his elegant swing and calm competitiveness, Pagunsan brings both star power and seasoned expertise to the three-day event. His distinguished amateur career includes victories at the Philippine, Thailand and Malaysian Amateurs. After turning professional in 2006, he quickly rose through the ranks, earning Asian Tour Rookie of the Year and claiming titles such as the 2007 Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational and the 2021 Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open. With 25 professional wins to his name, his participation promises an unforgettable experience for tournament attendees.
“We’re honored to welcome Juvic to this year’s fundraiser,” said Club President April Kitagawa. “This event is more than just a celebration of sport – it’s an opportunity for golfers of all skill levels to contribute to meaningful change in the lives of others.”
Registration opens on Friday at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club, with an entry fee of Php 3,500 covering green fees, gimmes, and the awards dinner. Mulligans may be purchased for Php 500 each.
