DILG Bacolod City to hold ‘EmpowHERed Horizons’

To feature meaningful discussion space for women, free medical check-up & pneumonia vaccination, fresh produce showcase, wellness activity, etc

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Bacolod City will hold an event dubbed “EmpowHERed Horizons: Women Shaping Tomorrow” on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM at City Mall Mandalagan, Bacolod, in connection with the National Women’s Month.

In a statement, DILG – Bacolod said the special event will feature “Kapehan para sa Kababayehan” – a meaningful discussion space for women, and “ZumbaBaye” – a wellness activity for participating barangay leaders and staff.

The event will also conduct free medical check-up & pneumonia vaccination prioritizing seniors and individuals with comorbidities, courtesy of the Bacolod City Health Office.

A showcase of fresh produce from the “HAPAG sa Barangay Project” gardens of various barangays will also be featured.

An Awarding Ceremony recognizing participants from past events, including GAD-KA-NA-BA? and Laragway sang Kababayehan, will also be held during the event.
