The New BACIWA BODs

Mayor Albee Benitez welcomed the new Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA) Board of Directors during a courtesy call and oath-taking ceremony at the City Mayor’s Office last January 22, 2025. The new board is composed of Atty. Sonya M. Verdeflor – Chairman; Mr. Edgardo S. Uychiat – Vice Chairman; Ms. Clarissa L. Araneta – Secretary; Ms. Rich Ann P. Zayco – Treasurer; Atty. Lorendo K. Dilag – Auditor. Mayor Benitez urged the board to address water supply challenges and improve services for Bacolodnons. The board pledged their commitment to transparency and efficient operations to fulfill BACIWA’s mission of providing reliable water services.
