Pinta Sagaynon shows ‘Gugma sa Taliambong’
Pinta Sagaynon opened its art show called “Gugma sa Taliambong” on Valentine’s Day, February 14, Wednesday, at Kape Albarako in Sagay City.
Leo Carton, president for the group stated how the love for art has saved them in all aspects of their lives and continually influence their surroundings with productive ideas and transformation.
“We celebrate our love for art every day, not just for Art’s month or any other event,” Carton told the Negros Daily Bulletin.
He added that the passion to celebrate life through art can send various messages of reform as well as of other creative expressions that can call out other artists to do the same.
This is a way for artists to improve lives and health and help block out negative influences that may not contribute to the wellness of living.
The event leads to invite a continuous desire to gather people by making more art, as well as music, and pass on to the creative youth to embrace and utilize their artistic skills, talents, and abilities.
Pinta Sagaynon consists of Leo Carton, Burog Alvarado, Madison Kate Demavibas, Arvin Hervias, Rolando Salimbaga Jr., Gerom Booc, Christopher Fernandez, Mariven Ventor, and Jolena Andales.* (Kristine G. Alonso)
