Mendoza leads team to win No Tap 9 trio tenpin tourney

Seventy four year old bowler Patricio Mendoza led his team to capture the Dutch Bakers No Tap 9 Trio Classic Tenpin Tournament at Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Bacolod City recently. His teammates were Ruperto Bustamante and Pablo Namacpacan collected a total of 498 pin falls.

With a 4-point differential against the champion team of Mendoza, the 1st Runner-up composed of former OFWs Alfred Valencia, Arnold Jesena, and former COA Naty Asentista ended up with 494 pfs. The 2nd Runner headed by “2022 Negros Open Senior Champion” Dr. Tony Hinolan, “Banker” Dwight Somcio, and “Tapa King” Joemil Villarosa ended up with 484 pfs.

Likewise, two teams from PLDT joined the event. Andy Guanco, Ruel Panes, and Khent Valero headed their respective teams; this brings 17 teams vying for Top 3 spot for Trio Regular event.

Meanwhile, in the ongoing Singles Event, the leader board was Virgilio Arcolas with 1,231 pfs, Highest Singles Male went to former STAI Youth Jerome Besa with 262 pfs, and Highest Single Female is Lotis Contai of Yelo Food Hub with 220 pfs. First Skin beauty Products by Marie Velarde Boyero were provided to Lady Bowlers as minor prizes Bacolod Monday Bowlers Club (BMBC) Vice President Edmund Jack Palermo will join the 15th DATBA Kadayawan National Bowling Tour Open 2023 on August 18.*
