Former US-based bowlers wins BMBC’s trio classic tenpin tourney

Champion team composed of former US-based tenpin bowlers John Reinhart with wife Anne, and teammate Raymund Livioco were on the spotlight during the Bacolod Monday Bowlers Club (BMBC) Trio Classic Tenpin Bowling Tournament awarding ceremony at Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Bacolod City last July 31. The trio won the coveted title with a score of 611 pin falls on a Dutch Bakers format two days before the recognition night.

Eventual 1st runner-up went to the team of three of Neel Abordaje, Agustin Garingalao, & Grace Diopenes who toppled down 593 pfs; and 2nd runner-up headed by former US-based bowler Timothy Oliver, Cheryl de Guzman, & and Rene Boy Aranico ended up with a pin behind the latter with a score of 592 pins.

On the same day, new members were recognized including Ar Lowil Villarosa, Architectural Designer from United Architect Philippiness; 83-year old Angelito Espejo; and Lito Alejo from the MassKara Eagles Club. BMBC long time business partner Jojo and Desiree Cepeda of 635 Bar Café & Carwash were also present during the event.

Another highlight of the regular Beast Games, which were played by 38 players, was a birthday cake surprise for July and August celebrants with food exhibits donated by members of the club to make the activity more memorable. BMBC vice president Edmund Palermo & Eleanor Galupo emceed the event, while Rolly Alonzo, Melot Alimon, and Lito Masculino presented the awards.*
