PRO NIR Kicks Off 5-Day Transformational Leadership Seminar in NegOr

The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region held Monday the opening ceremony of its 5-Day Transformational Leadership Seminar at the Maringal Hall of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office in Barangay Aga-an, Sibulan, Negros Oriental, marking a significant step toward enhancing leadership capability and reinforcing service excellence within the organization.
The Feb. 16, 2026 ceremony was graced by Sibulan Municipal Mayor Jose “Pepe” Abiera represented by Atty. Dino Abiera; P/Col. Timmar J. Alam, OIC, NOrPPO; P/Lt. Col. Gaylord P. Tamayo, OIC, RLDDD; P/Lt. Col. Ariel S. Bait, Acting Training Manager, RSTU BAR; P/Maj. Fortunato S. Villafuerte, OIC, Sibulan MPS; participants and other personnel of NOrPPO.
The five-day Transformational Leadership Seminar is being conducted by the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU), highlighting its vital role in strengthening leadership development and professional capacity building within the organization, with a total of 30 personnel actively engaging in the program, comprising 24 personnel from the Sibulan MPS and 6 personnel from the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Section (RPHAS), demonstrating their collective commitment to continuous growth, enhanced organizational effectiveness, and the pursuit of excellence in delivering responsive, accountable, and community focused police service.
Designed to cultivate transformational and values driven leaders, the seminar focuses on strengthening decision making, accountability, communication, and strategic leadership competencies. Through this initiative, PRO NIR aims to equip its personnel with the skills and mindset necessary to effectively address evolving challenges in law enforcement while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and public trust.
