PRO NIR’s Relentless SACLEO Campaign Yields 341 Arrests, Delivers High-Impact Results Across the Region

The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region successfully concluded its Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) with significant impact against criminality.

From February 4, 2026 to February 14, 2026, a total of 339 intensified and synchronized operations were carried out throughout Negros Island Region, resulting in significant gains in the fight against wanted persons, illegal drugs, loose firearms, and illegal gambling. PRO NIR’s relentless and coordinated efforts underscored the Philippine National Police’s firm commitment to safeguarding communities and enforcing the rule of law without hesitation, a statement from PRO NIR said.

• Key Accomplishments of the SACLEO:

Campaign Against Wanted Persons

A total of 134 operations were conducted, leading to the arrest of 134 wanted individuals. Among those apprehended were 37 Most Wanted Persons and 97 Other Wanted Persons. These successful arrests reflect PRO NIR’s unyielding pursuit of fugitives and its firm stance that no offender is beyond the reach of the law.

Campaign Against Illegal Drugs

Through 78 anti-illegal drug operations, PRO NIR arrested 83 drug personalities and confiscated approximately 625.9 grams of shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of PhP 4,249,320. This decisive campaign dealt a significant blow to the illegal drug trade operating within the region.

Campaign Against Loose Firearms

88 focused operations were conducted against loose firearms, resulting in the arrest of 20 individuals, confiscation of 20 loose firearms, recovery of 5 explosives and secured the voluntary surrender of 64 unlicensed firearms. These accomplishments demonstrate both intensified enforcement and strengthened collaboration with the community in preventing armed violence.

Campaign Against Illegal Gambling

PRO NIR conducted 39 operations against illegal gambling activities, resulting in the arrest of 104 individuals and the confiscation of PhP 18,097 in bet money, further reinforcing its strong and consistent enforcement posture.

The successful implementation of SACLEO highlights PRO NIR’s relentless, unyielding, and strong commitment to protecting the people of Negros Island Region. Through sustained, intelligence-driven, and coordinated operations, the office continues to dismantle criminal activities and hold offenders accountable, the PRO NIR statement added.
