SLEEP ON IT: Salud to My Mentors

November 30, 2025

As a teacher myself, the only wealth I have amassed for myself is the innumerable high school boys and girls and a number of college gentlemen and ladies who occupied the three high schools and a college institution I was privileged to share my teaching prowess with.

Yes! I have this wealth who walk The Earth and more often than not one or more of them take time out to humor this old marm. To be remembered is a heartwarming phase that does not only wrinkle the face but also makes the heart shed tears for the gratitude showered to one who has retired and eventually almost nonexistent!

Today this honor belongs to my mentors whom I owe the knowledge which honed me as a member of the teaching force for 36 years of moulding characters and of minds until my 60th year halted me to serve!

I Salute You All wherever You maybe and I am forever grateful for the chance of once being in your wing! Know that I have not forgotten you!

With Jesus Christ as The Best Teacher of all, the lessons I learned from you are forever etched in my heart!
