PSA-Negros Occidental Holds Outreach & Gift Giving Program on Its 12th Anniversary

The week-long 12th anniversary of the Philippine Statistics Authority -Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office included an Outreach and Gift Giving Activity at St. Vincent Home for the Aged in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.

The activity adopted the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile and Future-fit PSA”.

PSA employees and staff gave gifts and shared food with 24 elderly residents of St. Vincent Home for the Aged.

They also provided entertainment through songs, dances and other performances. Donations in-kind such grocery packages, hygiene kits were extended to the residents.

The activity is part of the Philippine Statistics Authority’s expression of its corporate social responsibility and commitment to its adopted community. Its objective is to foster companionship, belongingness, and a sense of community among the elderly, a statement ftom the PSA said.

In behalf of PSA – Negros Occidental, Statistical Specialist II Thomas O. Gay and Statistical Analyst Resty John M. Bancruz expressed their gratitude to St. Vincent Home for the Aged for the accommodation and looks forward to its next outreach activity, it added in the statement signed by Diesah S.
