Moises Padilla inaugurates Municipal Crisis Center for women & children 3-unit eatery at stockyard also inaugurated

Moises Padilla Mayor Ella Celestina D. Garcia-Yulo and Vice Mayor Pimpoy Yulo, with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, inaugurated and blessed the ₱3.7-million Municipal Crisis Center, Tuesday.

Moises Padilla Mayor Ella Celestina D. Garcia-Yulo and Vice Mayor Pimpoy Yulo, with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, inaugurated and blessed the ₱3.7-million Municipal Crisis Center, Tuesday.

The blessing rites were officiated by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Moncada and Rev. Fr. Jose Gerson Te-ad.

The facility will serve as a safe haven for women and children who are victims of abuse or are facing personal crises, offering them protection and support.

The project was implemented through the town’s 20% Development Fund with Engr. Agnes Glia T. Mabag as project engineer. Management and operations of the center will be handled by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), headed by Mam Kersey O. Sumadhay.

Mayor Garcia-Yulo emphasized that the establishment of the center is a step toward securing a brighter and safer future for women and children in the community.
Eatery also blessed

Recently, Rev. Fr. Te-ad and Rev. Fr. Moncada also blessed the P1 million 3-unit eatery at the Municipal Stockyard.

Mayor Ella and Vice Mayor Pimpoy, together with SB Members Morito Flores, Omega Bangcaya, SK Federation President Anna Marie Abibuag and Liga ng mga Punong Barangay President Francis Bernard Garcia also officiated the inauguration, attended by other municipal and barangay officials.

The P1M fund also came from the 20% Development Fund of the town. It was also implemented by the Municipal Engineering Office under Engr. Agnes Glia Gayona-Mabag.

Mayor Garcia-Yulo said the eatery is just among series of improvements at the town’s stockyard. Moises Padilla is Negros Occidental’s livestock capital.* (NDB)
