Rotary Year Opens With Joint Tree Planting
Rotary Year 2025/2026 began with a powerful gesture of unity and environmental stewardship as members of the Rotary Club of Bacolod Marapara and the Rotaract Club of Marapara came together recently for the Sibol District’s Tree Planting 2025 at Bantug Lake Ranch in Alangilan, Bacolod City.
In a shared act of purpose, the group planted around 200 tree seedlings – living symbols of hope, renewal and a greener future. The event not only marked the beginning of a new Rotary year but also underscored the enduring strength of collaboration between Rotarians and Rotaractors. It was a celebration of fellowship, service and the collective commitment to building a more sustainable world.* (Robert Harland)
