New Prov’l Admin Center completed next year

April 7, 2025

The provincial government of Negros Occidental will transfer to the new Provincial Administration Center (PAC) by next year, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said.

The facility is nearing completion, Lacson said, adding that there is a need to finish the interior of the building.

We are targeting to purchase office furnitures and fixtures soon, he said.

The construction of the PAC started in 2022 and will be completed in June, this year.

The Capitol allocated P1 billion for the construction including furniture and fixtures.

The governor said he will still hold his office at the old Capitol building because it is “iconic and represents the seat of power of the province.”

He may also set up a receiving area in the new PAC building.

The facility is a 7-storey building along Aguinaldo Street and will house various provincial government offices.

Currently, the provincial government offices are in different buildings.

A multi-level parking area has been built next to the new PAC building.

Dynamic Builders Incorporated won the bidding for the construction of the PAC building.* (EYA)
