TESDA General Directorate Conference 2025 Held in Bacolod
Aiming to enhance students’ access to job opportunities and improve their skills through education, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held on March 19 its 20th General Directorate Conference at Seda Capitol Central in Bacolod City.
Led by TESDA Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, PhD, the conference focused on the theme “Unlocking Key Innovations, Knowledge, and Opportunities in TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training).”
The event brought together all regional directors of the Philippines, including representatives from BARMM, CARAGA, CAR, NCR, NIR, and 13 other regions across the country. Emphasizing collaboration, the conference aimed to foster unity among regions to drive progress and achieve TESDA’s 8-Point Agenda.
Mayor Albee Benitez expressed confidence in TESDA’s ability to fulfill its mission in Bacolod.
The event was also attended by Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson, regional directors, the GDC Secretariat, central officers, and ACE officers.* (W/BCD PIO)
