‘Bacolod City Vet Does Not Require Nor Force Pet Owners to Pay or Donate’

The Bacolod City Veterinary Office would like to reiterate its policy of NOT requiring nor forcing pet owners to pay or donate cash in exchange of the services we deliver, most especially on its Mass Vaccination of dogs and cats in the city.

This statement is being issued in light of the reported incident where the BCVO allegedly solicited cash for its mass vaccination in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City last January 23, 2025. An inquiry is now being made by the BCVO as to the truthfulness of this claim.

The public is advised to report similar incidents so that disciplinary sanctions may be imposed.
