Temporary road closures set Monday, January 13 in Bacolod City

Some streets near and around the Provincial Capitol Lagoon in Bacolod will be temporarily closed on Monday, January 13, 2025.

This is due to the request of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) regarding the holding of its INC National Rally for Peace at the lagoon area for its Negros gathering.

Participating INC members from all over Negros Island will gather at the lagoon grounds, Bacolod City being their host venue for their nationwide peace rally, aimed at calling on government leaders to prioritize the welfare of Filipinos.

To be fully closed will be the North Capitol Road, South Capitol Road, Lacson Street from Cottage Road to 15th Street and portion of 6th Street, from 6 o’clock in the morning until 12 midnight, as approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod through Resolution No. 01, Series of 2025.* (NDB)
