Victorias City marked a milestone as Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez led the groundbreaking ceremony for the city’s first-ever McDonald’s branch, set to operate 24/7 with advanced technological features, along Osmeña Avenue, December 18.
The site, located in front of CityMall Victorias, is set to house a two-story McDonald’s that will feature state-of-the-art amenities and services.
Expected to open in April 2025, McDonald’s Victorias will be the 15th branch in Negros Occidental and one of only three branches in the Philippines equipped with a Vertical Transport System (VTS).
This advanced system efficiently transfers food from the second-floor production area to the ground floor, enhancing service speed and productivity.

He emphasized the city’s dedication to fostering economic growth and attracting investments, while also expressing hope that the McDonald’s team would continue to create opportunities for his constituents.

Bacolod Cetus Food Industries Owner/Operator Michelle Valencia revealed exciting features of the new branch, including a drive-thru, self-ordering kiosks on the ground floor, and a play place with a party area on the second floor.
Key stakeholders at the event included EPM Chief Executive Officer Engineer Eleil Parroco Martinez, Board Director Johnny Bapla, Operations Manager Michael Anthony Fuentebella, project lessor Eduardo Alarcon, and Gerlie Liguaton, Local Store Marketing Assistant for Visayas at the Golden Arches Development Corporation (GADC).
Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III and City Councilors Warlito Undar, Eric Alcobilla, Dexter Senido, Danilo De Asis, Audie Malaga, Francis Frederick Palanca, Deilen Hofileña, Teresity Bartolome, Hermie Millan, and Dino Jose Maria Acuña were also present.
Additionally, City Administrator Atty. Lindolf De Castro, city department heads, Barangay XX Kagawad Jappy Cuaycong, Former Councilor Vincent Marie Roa, and Former Board Member Juvy Pepello joined the momentous occasion.
