USLS to Graduate 173 Project Free Scholars on Dec.12
The University of St. La Salle (USLS) is set to hold its graduation rites for 173 Project FREE (Flagships to Reach Educational Excellence) Program scholars on Dec. 12 at the St. La Salle Coliseum.
The graduants are part of the third batch of scholars who are expected to receive their post-graduate degrees after completing all the academic requirements of the said program.
Out of these scholars, 21 students will receive their Doctorate degree, and 152 students are to earn their Masters degree.
The Project FREE program is a joint partnership between the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, USLS and the Department of Education that gives public elementary and high school teachers of the province an opportunity to pursue masteral or doctoral degrees at USLS.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, Project FREE grantor, is expected to attend the graduation rites with Department of Education Secretary Sen. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara giving a commencement speech via video recording.* (LSB)
