PAMET MedTech Day held in Bacolod

The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET) – Negros Occidental Chapter held its Medical Technology Day Celebration with several events Friday afternoon, September 6 at the Sacred Heart Seminary covered court in Bacolod City.

An inter-school quiz show was participated by three medical technology schools in Negros Occidental. The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos dominated the 3-round competition and was declared champion during the quiz show. Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod and Fellowship Baptist College-Kabankalan were first and second runners-up respectively. UNO-R Inter-school quiz show contestants were Nina Llagono, Arman Gonzales, Honey Wind Oriel and Gian Carlo Erasmo.

The awarding ceremony was also held for the winners of the MedTech Awareness Video and Digital Poster Making Competition.

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos was the winner in the Medtech Awareness Video, produced by its first year medical technology students. While the Digital Poster making competition winners were all dominated by students from the Fellowship Baptist College-Kabankalan. Entry no.5 of Whendolyn Marie Tahum was first place winner, while entry no.3 of Gemma Danielle Amada and entry no.7 of Rowelly Ella Comahig were second and third places respectively.
