Governor to deliver his SOPA Tuesday

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson will deliver his State of the Province Address (SOPA) during the regular session of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan at the Capitol Social Hall at 2 p.m., Tuesday. August 20.

Atty. Alberto Nellas, Jr., acting provincial administrator, said on Monday that the governor is expected to present the achievements of his administration.

“He is a hard-working governor. He brought basic services to the people through the different programs and projects,” Nellas pointed out.

Lacson earlier said he will seek a last term during the 2025 elections.

“He would often say that public service is the focus of his administration,” Nellas said.*
