City hosts benchmarking event, shares best practices
Bacolod City welcomed officials of Roxas City led by Mayor Ronnie Dadivas for a benchmarking event Saturday aimed at sharing best practices.
Bacolod has already hosted close to 40 local government units for their benchmarking activities.
The event was opened by Mayor Albee Benitez, who emphasized the city’s dedication to progress.
Key presentations included the Bacolod City Comprehensive Health Program (BacCHP) by Engr. Mae Cuaycong, the presentation of MITCS that highlighted the Electronic Business Integrated System by Mary Jo Goetsch, and the Yuhum Arao Pabahay Program by Rodel Parcon. These highlighted Bacolod’s achievements in healthcare, information technology and housing.
Tourism initiatives were also showcased, with Ms. Jescah Madayag presenting strategies that have boosted Bacolod’s local economy.
The event concluded with an open forum, where the delegation from Roxas City, Capiz engaged in a fruitful exchange of ideas with Bacolod’s key stakeholders.* (Bacolod City Information Office/BCD PIO)
