Prov’l, reg’l hospitals to accept patients from Cauayan, Sagay
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson assured Cauayanons and Sagaynons that the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City is ready to accommodate patients from other parts of Negros Occidental.
Lacson made the assurance Wednesday since the Alfredo Marañon Sr. District Hospital in Sagay City and the Cauayan District Hospital in Cauayan town announced last week that their facilities were already full and they cannot accept new patients.
“The two hospitals are not under the supervision of the provincial government,” the governor added.
Lacson also said that the provincial government is also coordinating with the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City to accept patients from the province.* (EYA)
