Dogs, cats at Mambukal resort being impounded for vaccination
Stray dogs and cats at the Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary in Murcia are being impounded to be spayed, neutered and vaccinated against rabies.
Acting Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Atty. Alberto Nellas, Jr. said the dogs and cats will then be offered for adoption.
Nellas also said the ongoing operation is being undertaken by the Provincial Veterinary Office, in coordination with the veterinary offices of Murcia and Bago City, “for the safety of the resort and Barangay Minoyan” where the provincial government’s mountain resort is located.
Any animal organization is welcome to join the operation, Nellas added.* (NDB)
