City stages Gov. Bong and Mayor Rene Negros Shoot Fest

The City of San Carlos hosted the Governor Bong and Mayor Rene-Negros Shootfest, Best of the Best at 6 stages 140 round minimum Sunday, Jan. 28, at Brgy. Palampas Firing Range.

At least 80 shooters joined the event during which winners received P3,000 for the champion, P2,000 for the 1st runner-up, and P1,000 for the 2nd runner-up and trophies.

Champions from the different individual categories under the Production Division include Miguel Alisaje for the Civilian Category, Jabu Areglo for the Production Lawman, Kiki Silverbrave for the Production Lady, Rosales Adonis for the Production Senior, Junan Guinanao for the Production LGU, and Renbert Gustilo for the Production Optics.

For the Standard Division, champions include Keith Owen Teovisio for Civilian Category, Nikko Fernandez for Standard Lawman, Zhanae Yulo for Standard Lady, Gary Buaron for Standard Senior, and Rhomar Villarosa for Standard LGU.

Meanwhile, champions for the Classic Division were Justine De Leon for Civilian Category, Willie Pesase for Classic Lawman, Dan Agting for Classic Senior, Frank Garcia for Classic Mega-senior, and Henjie Dela Victoria for Classic LGU.

On the other hand, Junjun Paolo was the champion for Pistol Caliber Carbine, Christian Yap for Open, and Noli Yu for Open Senior Category.

San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo and San Carlos Vice-Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona thanked the shooters for their participation and were hopeful that they would attend more shoot fest in the city soon.

Present during the shoot fest were SP members Jeffrey Hidalgo, Benito Gustilo Jr., Mark Cui, and City Legal Officer Atty. Peter Parco.*
