Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridge design budget included in 2024 national budget

The budget for the detailed engineering design of the Panay-Negros-Guimaras Bridge is included in the 2024 General Appropriations Act, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said.

Korean consultants with engineers from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) conducted a briefing with provincial government officials led by Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer last week.

The detailed engineering design for Section A or the Panay-Guimaras Bridge will be 4.97 kilometers, while Section B or the Guimaras-Negros Bridge will be 19.47 kilometers.

The Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridges project have a funding of P187.54 billion.* (EYAdiong)
