Prov’l gov’t employees to get add’l bonus next month

After receiving their 14th month and Christmas bonuses this week, the more than 2,000 work force of the provincial government of Negros Occidental will receive additional bonuses in December.

Engr. Ruben Diamante, president of the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) said regular and casual employees will receive P5,000 in Performance Enhancement Incentives (PEI) and P25,000 in Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus in December.

Diamante clarified that contract of service (COS) and job order (JO) employees will receive gratuity pay.

He said almost all qualified Capitol employees have already received their 14th month and Christmas bonuses.

The delay for some workers to receive their bonuses may be caused by the lack of certain documents, Diamante said, but added they will ultimately get their bonuses if they submit the required documents.

Currently, PACE has a membership of 2,216 employees.* (EYA)
