‘Buglas: For Club and Country’

“One for the books….,” said Buglas Futbol Regional Association, Inc. President Luis Christian Clauor after proving that Negrense Girls football development is gaining traction to go head-to-head with Women’s World Cup host Australia in the group stage with a dying minute breakaway goals.

“We are truly ready to engage with international football teams…,” Mr. Clauor, also the head coach, added, as they bid for nomination for the Kanga Cup Football Tournament in Canberra, Australia set July 2024.

The SingaCup International Youth Football Cup culminated November 11, 2023, participated by 130 teams from age group Under 8 to Under 18.

The Beach Hut FC, also from the Philippines, headed by Head Coach Joyce Landagan dominated their group Girls Under 16 with a 3-0-1 standing.

Powered by The Sketchy Horse, Mighty Sports Apparel, Mayor Albee Benitez, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, the Buglas Filipinas equalized in the second half after Beatriz Victoria Antonio found the back of the net from a breakaway goal in the 37th minute, but eventualy Lion City Sailors (Singapore) mentored by coach Yeong Sheau Shyan, AFC-A License and Womens National team U14 & U16 Head Coach, captured the lead after a counter attack goal from the right flank in the 47th minut, ending the 1st match 2-1 and later on grabbed the Champion Trophy of the Girls U14 Category.

Buglas Futbol Regional Association, Inc. through COPA ABB, Free Clinics and other PFF grassroots program will pave the way for homegrown talents to be exposed to quality and life changing learning experience, staying true to its Vision and Mission Statement under the banner of “Better Soccer, More Fun”.*
