Massive campaign on JVA Proxy Voting ongoing

August 17, 2023

Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez announced last Monday that the city has put up “proxy booths” to accommodate CENECO member-consumers that have no time to go at their designated precincts during the resumption of the plebiscite in relation to the joint venture agreement (JVA) between Ceneco and Primelectric/Negros Power.

The electric cooperative allows proxy to vote in the plebiscite in the absence of the member-consumer to appear in the polling centers under the coverage areas of CENECO.

The plebiscite schedules are: Aug. 19, 20, 26 and 27; and Sept. 2 and 3, 2023.

“Gani, kun YES ka na sa CENECO JVA pero wala ka tyempo sa pagboto sa adlaw sang plebisito? Magpaproxy ka na lang!”

Fill up your proxy form. Available at the CENECO JVA booths located at: SM City Mall, Ayala Mall, Robinson’s Mall, City Mall, Gaisano Mall, 888 Mall, Bacolod Old City Hall, Bacolod City Government Center, and baragngay halls of Taculing, Estefania & Tangub.* (PR)
