Governor Lacson expresses gratitude to Senate President Zubiri for offer to help province

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson today expressed his gratitude to Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri for offering help to the provincial government in whatever project it wants.

“I know of the fact that many local government units have requested assistance from the Senate President. If the province asks for a project we will have to think about it over so it will be a high impact project,” the governor pointed out.

Last Saturday, Zubiri was in the province to inspect the different projects he helped fund.

Unfortunately, Lacson said, he was not able to meet Zubiri.

“We are very thankful for Senator Migz Zubiri who always reminds us that he is a citizen of Negros Occidental. We’re very appreciative of his offer,” he added.* (EYA)
